Grape Vespolina 100%
Alcohol content 13%
Bottle Size 750 ml
Vineyards Glacial and alluvial soils of morainic origin in the Novara hills
Everage yield per hectare 60 hl
Vinification Traditional red wine making process, where the must (pulp) ferments together with the grape skins at low temerature to preserve aromas.
Colour Clear deep ruby color with purple shades
Nose Slightly balsamic and spicy peppery notes
Flavour Astringent due the strong tannins but fresh and well-balanced, with a pleasantly bitterish aftertaste
Service temperature 16°C
Food pairings A young wine which accompanies a large variety of foods without very strong flavours. Given the strong tannins, it is particularly suited to slightly fatty foods such as salami, prosciutto but also lamb and other meats
When to drink Wine good to drink now, but that can have a beautiful evolution after resting for a while in your cellar
You can easily cellar it for 2-3 years
